Its balcony boasts a lovely sea view with the mountains of the mainland behind. The apartment is situated in a quiet neighbourhood of the old town, as a perfect holiday destination in an authentic Croatian fishing town that is also a main centre of island Brac. If you choose to come in the high season of July and August you’ll find Supetar vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. Eat out at a different restaurant each evening, get friendly with Brac beautiful nature and enjoy the custom bars and cafes of the town. Alternatively take a 45-minute ferry ride to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Diocleceans Palace. Or, just 45 minutes from Supetar by car, you can visit beautiful beach resort named Bol, very famous for its beach phenomenon called Zlatni Rat. In a few words: holiday possibilities on Brac are huge. For a quiet holiday come in April-June or September/October. Easy and regular access to the mainland makes it a great place to have not just a relaxing beach holiday with the whole island to explore by scooter, boat or car but also makes for a convenient base from which to visit the historic sites of Split. If walking is your thing, there’s plenty of lovely coastal and inland walks with many beautiful old stone villages to explore.
