Stephanie is ideal place to spend your holidays – for everybody… Come in the high season of July and August and you’ll find Sutivan vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. Eat out at a different restaurant each evening and sample the friendly bars and cafes of the village. Take from Supetar a 45-minute ferry ride to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Diocleceans Palace, do some designer brand name shopping, or just promenade along the elegant palm tree lined Riva eating an ice cream! For a quiet holiday come in April-June or September/October. Easy and regular access to the mainland makes it a great place to have not just a relaxing beach holiday with the whole island to explore by scooter, boat or car but also makes for a convenient base from which to visit the historic sites of Split. If walking is your thing, there’s plenty of lovely coastal and inland walks with many beautiful old stone villages to explore. Local activities cycling, diving, sailing, swimming, walking, wind-surfing. Means of access: Come by car to Split and take the 45 min car ferry to Supetar. Then take a taxi and drive to Sutivan (7 km). Alternatively come by plane to Split and take the 30 min taxi/bus ride from the airport to the ferry for Supetar.
